Boxy Tee - Painted Kyabetsu

I took this photo of a cabbage patch outside of a temple in the Yamanashi Prefecture of Japan. There was no plan to make it a shirt, but lots of people seemed to really like the idea of wearing cabbage, so why not? Cabbage is an important ingredient in many cuisines, and there is something satisfying about the idea of getting our hands dirty, so I think it's a photo everyone can relate to in some way.

The frame around the photo is hand-painted with the year the photo was taken. The tee is also pre-washed, resulting in some variances across prints. These are expected and, as with people, we should embrace them.
